More about
Originally from Cape Town, he performed with many of the top bands and musicians down there.
The last band Rodney performed with before departing for Durban in 1994 was the
Crocodile Harris Show Band (Give me the Good News and Miss Eva Goodnight fame), performing at the V & A waterfront and numerous other venues such as Quay 4, Berties Landing etc……
He is essentially a solo performer apart from performing with various bands performing at all the top venues too many to mention but in any event was a popular performer.
On arrival in Durban, he performed up and down the coast for three years before departing for Jo’burg in 1997. Some of the venues were Magoos Bar, London Town Pub, Salt Rock Hotel the Umkomaas diving school, River gardens Hotel in Amanzimtoti etc…
In Jo’burg, he performed at numerous venues like Cobblestones in Monte casino, Gilroy’s Brewery in Muldersdrift, numerous Kegs and Dros pubs in and around Jo’burg. He also performed in concerts, Elvis “Back to Las Vegas” shows, Cliff Richard and The Shadows Shows and with the Legacy band, the recent concert at the Pierneef Theatre Pretoria not too long ago, to a sell out show and performed as lead guitar player in the band.
He did a residency at Razziolis Restaurant in Edenvale for 10 years performing on a Friday night and Sunday afternoons 2005 – 2015 when the restaurant was sold.
He is essentially a professional solo artist performing classic rock covers ideally suited to restaurants, functions, private parties. He does pubs as well as concerts.
He prides himself on being reliable and getting to gigs well before start up time and do not drink on the job.
